Dessert Over Load

On the topic of diet and Paleo...I am glad that so many of you have chosen to take up the Paleo way of life, but seriously people!!!!  Every time I walk in the gym, someone is making Paleo brownies, cookies, waffles, anything dessert-ish!!  Just 'cause it's Paleo, doesn't necessarily mean that you should be eating it.  I want someone to bring in some grass fed goat on a stick!  How about some grilled veggies harvested from your very own backyard garden??   Let's get serious here!!  Tighten it up!!

Who Knew??

Diet Diet Diet...we all know that how and what you eat is important.  In reality it is the biggest component of health and athletic performance. You can work out all you want, but if you are eating junk, you will not see great results - I guarantee it!  

Here at CFABQ, we recommend that our clients follow a Paleo style diet. We also know that everyone's body chemistry is a little different - some are okay with a little milk; others, not so much!  It is often helpful to keep a log of what you are eating so that you can see what works for you and what does not.  It boils down to this...Do you look better?  feel better? perform better?  Your body is a precision system that relies upon your choices for fine-tuning and constant attention for best health and performance.  

  

With that in mind, read the article below.  It is a great example of someone working to fine tune the system...you might be surprised by what he found...
